The interactive bulletin dated 9/2022 continued the call of activists for the Turkish government and the international community to protect refugees from racist attacks and guarantee their rights. They also demanded the right of the young Sharif Khaled Al-Ahmad, who was killed a few days ago by Turkish youths, by shooting him in the Bagcilar area in Istanbul, Turkey.

Activists circulated clips from the funeral of the Syrian refugee who was killed in Istanbul, and in the city of Idlib (northern Syria).

Bloggers also sent messages to racists in countries receiving Syrian refugees.

The case of Rania Sharkas was the talk of the platforms in Turkey and Arab countries.

A Syrian mother of a Turkish child, she appealed, through a video, to the Turkish authorities not to be separated with her family and to be deported to another country, and called for solidarity with her humanitarian cause.

Activists launched a solidarity campaign with her, and her voice reached the Turkish authorities, who decided to cancel the decision to deport her.

Among the interactions through the hashtag #racism_kills_Syrians, activist Dareen Al-Abdullah tweeted, “It has become our highest wish not to die treacherously with a stab or bullet. By deporting us to a cemetery called Al-Watan."

As for the writer Ahmed Al-Hawas, he said, "What is happening in Turkey towards the Syrians is an organized and motivated plan ahead of the presidential elections. One of its chapters is the plan to overthrow the ruling party, using the Syrians' card and spreading terror among them after using the economy card and striking the Turkish currency."

Researcher Abdel Wahab Asi wrote, "It has become clear that the feelings of anxiety among most Syrian refugees in Turkey have begun to grow and may gradually turn into fear and insecurity as the discourse of racism and hatred turns into acts of aggression and murder. The government is responsible and concerned with taking legal measures to protect refugees. Of course, voluntary return projects are not a solution. For now".

As for the Turkish human rights defender, Abdul Razzaq Yildiz, he said, "Today, any Syrian in the Gulf states, if he does not have a residence permit, is deported. Whoever attacks Turkey today regarding the Syrians, he wants to harm the Syrians in the first place and create sedition, and he has not offered them anything."

Turkish writer Celal Demir said, "All racists are accomplices in the killing of Sharif Khaled Al-Ahmad..Ahmed was not killed, but was killed and humanity died in Istanbul. I hated Istanbul today..We are ashamed of our humanity. We are ashamed to say we are Turks. He killed all the people. Oh God, do not blame us for what the fools among us did."
