On June 7, the Hong Kong Palace Museum held a press conference, announcing that it will be officially opened to the public from July 2, with adult tickets priced at HK$50.

For 12 months from the opening date, the public can visit for free on Wednesdays by appointment online (except for special exhibitions and events).

Wu Zhihua, director of the Hong Kong Palace Museum, introduced that 914 precious cultural relics from the Beijing Palace Museum will be unveiled in the opening exhibition, including 166 first-class cultural relics, which are "national treasures".

This is the largest overseas loan of the Palace Museum since its establishment in 1925.
