The rainfall caused the river to swell, farmland roads were flooded, bridges and houses collapsed, and 11 villagers in the dam group of Fengzhou Village, Chongyi County were besieged by the flood water. The county and village officials and firefighters immediately launched rescue operations and used lifeboats to transfer the trapped people to a safe area .
At the same time, the local transportation, emergency management and other departments cooperated and actively organized emergency construction of personnel and machinery, dredged roads to ensure traffic, and carried out risk-removal and remediation for mountains with hidden dangers of landslides, so as to completely eliminate hidden safety hazards.
