China News Service, Hulunbuir, June 6th telegram: The laughter and tears of Zhang Xinfeng, the head teacher of the third year of high school: "There is finally an examination room at the door of the house"

China News Service reporter Li Aiping

"It took a day to take the college entrance examination in the early years; in 2003, the 'special train for the college entrance examination' was launched, and it took two hours to get to the examination room; now, the examination room is set up at the door of the house, and this change is really exciting."

On the eve of the college entrance examination, 40-year-old Zhang Xinfeng couldn't help but tell reporters, "This year's college entrance examination, there is no need to rush with students to take the college entrance examination 135 kilometers away as in previous years."

Zhang Xinfeng is the senior class teacher of Dayangshu No. 2 Middle School in Oroqen Autonomous Banner, Hulunbuir City, Inner Mongolia Autonomous Region. His township middle school is one of the few local schools with a high school system.

Dayangshu No. 2 Middle School was established in 1988. In the past 34 years, since it is still 135 kilometers away from Alihe Town, where the Oroqen Autonomous Banner is located, students here will go through a "long journey" before the college entrance examination every year. "Alien" college entrance examination.

As a native, Zhang Xinfeng's experience of taking the college entrance examination in 2002 made him doubly unforgettable. "At that time, I took the train, reversed the bus, and tossed for a day to get to Alihe Town."

"At that time, I never dreamed that I could set up a college entrance examination center in my hometown." Zhang Xinfeng said frankly that the Hulunbuir area is vast, and it was not easy to set up a college entrance examination center for a township middle school.

In the second year after Zhang Xinfeng's college entrance examination, the local "special train for college entrance examination" was launched.

Even so, many college entrance examination students still have a lot of inconvenience. "Students need to book a hotel two days in advance to adapt to the environment, and teachers and parents need to go to the examination room (for them) to cheer."

What is gratifying is that in mid-April this year, the Inner Mongolia Admissions and Examination Committee officially approved the establishment of the "Oroqen Autonomous Banner Dayangshu No. 2 Middle School College Entrance Examination Center".

On April 20, the Hulunbuir City Security Bureau, the Public Security Bureau, and the Education Bureau formed a joint inspection team to inspect the college entrance examination test site of Dayangshu No. 2 Middle School.

Zhang Xinfeng recalled: "When I conveyed the good news to my classmates, everyone was overwhelmed, and every classmate was full of confidence in getting good grades."

In his opinion, the setting of the test center not only solves the nearly 300 kilometers of hard work for the local college entrance examination candidates, but also increases the well-being of the children of thousands of families in Dayangshu, so that the children can better play their true level.

Official news from Oroqen Autonomous Banner shows that since the beginning of this year, the local banner committee and banner government have invested a total of 1.53 million yuan to build a new standardized college entrance examination center and test paper secret room. Yuan, paint the examination room, and equip relevant facilities and equipment.

According to reports, Dayangshu No. 2 Middle School has 28 standardized test rooms, each of which can accommodate 30 candidates.

Jiang Zhonggui, a local resident, said that the new construction of the college entrance examination center of Dayangshu No. 2 Middle School reflects the perseverance of the local government in optimizing educational resources and its determination to vigorously develop education, which is worthy of praise.

Facing the students who are about to enter the examination room, Zhang Xinfeng posted a photo of his senior year graduation in his circle of friends, and wrote emotionally: "May the old friends stay together, may the result be fulfilled, may have a predestined meeting, and may the students return as teenagers... "

From June 7th, 11.93 million students will enter the examination room in China. This year, the number of applicants for the national college entrance examination has reached a record high, an increase of 1.15 million over last year. There are 330,000 general examination rooms nationwide, and 1.02 million invigilators and examination personnel are arranged. .

On the same day, 440 local students (including students who returned to their hometowns for the college entrance examination due to the epidemic) will set sail for their dreams at the test center in their hometown.

Zhang Xinfeng couldn't help but told reporters: "With their suitable rhythm, familiar environment and strong support from their families, my students will definitely get good grades in the test." (End)
