On June 6, Hanfang Town, Ganxian District, Ganzhou City, Jiangxi Province was hit by continuous heavy rainfall. As of 12:00 a.m., the accumulated rainfall reached 330 mm, causing flash floods. Houses and farmland were flooded, and some people were trapped in their homes. Officers and soldiers of the Ganzhou Detachment of the Jiangxi Corps of the Armed Police rushed to rescue.

  At 11 a.m. that day, the Ganzhou Detachment of the Jiangxi Armed Police Corps received a notification of the disaster and quickly launched an emergency plan. It dispatched more than 30 officers and soldiers, carrying 4 assault boats and various rescue equipment to the disaster area for rescue.

After the troops arrived at the scene to survey the water situation, they quickly organized actions according to the plan.

As of 18:30 on June 6, the danger has been basically controlled.

According to Zhang Zhihua, the leader of the Mobile Brigade of the Ganzhou Detachment of the Armed Police Jiangxi Corps, after 8 hours of continuous operations, the troops rescued and transferred 156 people and transferred more than 300 pieces of disaster-stricken materials.
