Around 8:30 am on the 7th, a cleaning company reported to a nearby police box when there was a strange odor at JR Chitose Station in Chitose City, Hokkaido.



When police officers rushed to investigate, the baby's body was found in the coin locker installed at the front entrance of the station.



It means that the gender is unknown.



According to police, the coin locker had a plastic box in which the body was placed.



At that time, Chitose Station was a busy time for commuting to work and school, and there was a temporary turmoil around the area, such as the regulation lines being set up around it.



The police have decided to investigate the cause of death as well as analyze the security cameras in the vicinity as if it was a corpse abandonment case.
