16 programs such as documentaries produced by NHK Nagoya Broadcasting Station were selected for the Hosou Bunka Foundation Award, which is given to excellent programs and people who have contributed to the improvement of broadcasting technology.

For this year's Hosou Bunka Foundation Award, 16 programs and 13 individuals and groups were selected from 241 applications and recommendations received from all over the country.



Among them, in the "program section", the


director who has a younger sister with Down's syndrome who won the highest award of the TV documentary program faced the meaning of "choosing a life" over prenatal diagnosis. A world that may not have been born-Facing prenatal diagnosis- "was selected.

Nippon Television's "Police in a Pod-Police in a Pod", which focuses on female police officers working in police boxes, was selected as the highest award for the TV drama program.



In the TV entertainment program, TBS's "Wednesday's Downtown Obon Kobon THE FINAL" and in the


radio program, NHK's "FM Theater Waving Work" were selected as the highest awards.



In the "Individual / Group Division",


Naohiko Uehara, a radio personality who has produced many programs related to Okinawan culture on Ryukyu Broadcasting for many years, the


"NHK Television Broadcasting History" team, and


NHK's "8K High Speed" .

Awards such as "Camera Development Group" have been decided.



The presentation ceremony for the Hosou Bunka Foundation Award will be held on the 6th of next month.
