Watching the heavy rain falling non-stop, Lao Liang, a resident of Shimao Garden Community, No. 69, Xinglong South Road, Longsheng Town, county, was restless.
In addition to causing waterlogging in the community, the torrential rain has always worried him about the slope of the mountain behind his home.
Because since the heavy rain came, gravel has slipped from time to time on the mountain.
On the morning of June 4, the heavy rain continued, and soon community staff came to inform Lao Liang and the residents of the building to evacuate collectively.
At 7:50, the slope at the back of the community slipped locally, and the debris flow wrapped boulders into the community and directly destroyed the power distribution room of the community. Fortunately, the warning and evacuation were timely, and no casualties were caused by the disaster.

After investigation, it was found that the slope sliding of the back mountain in Shimao Garden Community was caused by rainfall and the construction of houses by cutting the slope.
The landslide accumulation volume is about 2,000 cubic meters, and the highest point of the accumulation body has reached the 4th floor of the residential building.
At present, the stability of the landslide mass is poor, and the trailing edge cracks continue to expand.
As of noon on June 6, Shimao Garden Community has safely evacuated 169 people from 51 households.
The landslide caused damage to 12 residential houses, and the power distribution room of the community was directly destroyed. The direct economic loss was about 4 million yuan, and the potential property threat was 17 million yuan.

In Liuzhou Sanjiang Dong Autonomous County, heavy rainfall caused two landslides in the county seat, and 277 people were safely transferred.
On the afternoon of June 2, the Sanjiang County Natural Resources and Planning Bureau received reports from residents of the Dongxing Shanshui Community in Guyi Town, the county that the mountain cracks were expanding at the registered ground disaster sites in the back mountain on the north side of the community.
After receiving the report, the bureau immediately organized an expert group and the staff of Guyi Town Government to rush to the scene to inspect.
After on-the-spot inspection, it was found that the slope of the mountain on the north side of Buildings 4-11, Dongxing Shanshui Community, Guyi Town, was deformed and expanded on the basis of the original cracks.
Combined with the situation of slope cracks, Sanjiang County Natural Resources and Planning Bureau organized personnel to carry out emergency response to the cracks at the front of the landslide overnight, and covered the cracks with color strips to limit the infiltration of rainwater and avoid further expansion of the hidden danger of slope cracks.
At the same time, emergency organizations evacuated 217 people from 56 households threatened by hidden dangers of the ground disaster.

At 18:00 on June 3, under the continuous influence of rainfall, a landslide occurred on the slope on the north side of Buildings 4-11 of Dongxing Shanshui Community in Guyi Town. Fortunately, no one was injured.
According to the on-site investigation, the collapsed volume of the slope landslide is about 66,000 cubic meters, threatening property of about 50 million yuan.
At present, 217 people threatened by the ground disaster have been safely transferred, and automatic monitoring equipment for ground disaster has been installed around the landslide body to carry out 24-hour early warning monitoring.

At 19:30 on June 5, the Gaoqie Slope of Yagu Road, Jiangbin Community, Guyi Town, Sanjiang County also collapsed.
According to the on-site investigation, this point belongs to the hidden danger point of high-cut slope geological disaster. It was caused by rainfall. The volume of the collapsed body was about 180 cubic meters. The accumulation body was buried on the 3rd floor of the building. About 12 million yuan, 60 people have been safely transferred.
According to the forecast of the Guangxi Meteorological Bureau, this round of heavy rainfall during the Dragon Boat Festival in Guangxi will continue until around June 9.
At present, the Guangxi Natural Resources Department has dispatched geological disaster prevention experts to Guilin, Liuzhou, Hechi and other places that are greatly affected by rainfall. Together with the local government, they will analyze and predict the disaster situation in a timely manner, scientifically set up dangerous areas and warning lines, issue clear cards, and continue to monitor the situation. 24-hour all-weather monitoring is carried out for the hidden danger points of ground disasters.
