Editor's note:

Every Chinese who works hard to live is the most beautiful struggler.

It is precisely because of hundreds of millions of strugglers that China is today.

For ten years, pay tribute to every struggle of you.

Let us work together to forge ahead in the new era, and work hard towards the future.

Throughout his life, this martial artist has devoted himself to inheritance; a half-born person, this sixty-six old man has not stopped.

62-year-old Miao Xiaolan is a female martial artist in Suning County, Cangzhou City, Hebei Province. She is the sixth generation descendant of the northern Chinese boxing style jab and kick boxing and has won many national championships.

Miao Xiaolan began to learn boxing at the age of 9. In 1991, she practiced jab boxing with Yin Bingwu and Liu Qingbo.

A few years later, when Miao Xiaolan accepted apprentices, she set a rule for herself—children with poor family conditions would not be charged, those willing to study hard and earnestly would not be charged, and those who made rapid progress and pursued would not be charged.

For more than 20 years, Miao Xiaolan has stuck to the small town and cultivated batch after batch of martial arts seedlings.

In 2021 alone, 8 of Miao Xiaolan's children will be admitted to sports schools such as Beijing Sports University.
