On June 4, there was a rear-end collision between two trucks on the Lingao section of the Hainan Island Ring Expressway from Haikou to Sanya. The accident caused one of the LNG-powered trucks to leak liquefied natural gas from the fuel tank. Fortunately, no one was trapped.
After receiving the alarm, rescue personnel from Lingao County Fire Rescue Brigade immediately rushed to the scene for disposal, and contacted the technicians of the gas station to assist on the scene.
After more than 3 hours of unremitting efforts, the fire rescue personnel successfully emptied the gas in the LNG power tank with the assistance of technical experts, and used the engineering tractor to tow the accident vehicle to the roadside to restore normal traffic on the road.
