The Department of Economy and Tourism in Dubai has highlighted pioneering initiatives in sustainability in the emirate, on the occasion of the celebration of World Environment Day, which falls on June 5.
The Dubai Sustainable Tourism initiative, which aims to consolidate the emirate's position as one of the world's leading sustainable tourism destinations, celebrates sustainable practices, from desert reserves, to restaurants, facilities and attractions that preserve the environment.
