Kristen Stewart is determined to complete the production of her first film by the end of the year.

Since 2018, the Twilight

star has been

working on an adaptation of

La Mécanique des Fluides

(

The Chronology of Water

in the original version), Lidia Yuknavitch's autobiography in which the author discusses her bisexuality, her addictions and her fight for Palestinian cause.

And even if she has not yet managed to secure all the necessary funding, the actress intends to launch production as quickly as possible.

"If I don't make this movie by the end of the year, I'm going to die," she said in an interview with IndieWire.

Special conditions

According to Kristen Stewart, the main difficulties are based on the fact that she intends to work in a small team and with a flexible schedule allowing her to travel the Oregon coast and shoot with the least possible constraints.

As such, the future filmmaker has already got her hands on her first role, even if she still refuses to reveal her identity.

"I've been alone with this, in this void, so it's nice to give someone something, a friend and a partner, and say, 'Help me.'

She's the one who's going to have to do it and it's really (a role) difficult, so I'm in heaven, ”rejoiced Kristen Stewart.

It remains to be hoped that she manages, as she wishes, to shoot her film by the end of the year.
