A gang leader escapes from prison disguised as a woman and gets his freedom for two hours!
A criminal nicknamed Gordito Lindo made headlines in Paraguay, South America, after he managed to escape from a prison disguised as a woman, albeit for a few hours before he was arrested again.
The story is that last Sunday, Cesar Ortiz, the supposed leader of the Rotella criminal gang, escaped from Tacumbú National Prison as soon as he walked out the front gate.
The veteran criminal used an old and very simple trick, when he disguised himself as a woman, armed with bright makeup, false nails, and the necessary fillings, without ignoring women's clothing, of course.
In addition to his short freedom of time, the criminal obtained a new nickname, "Gordeto Lindo" or "the nice fat" as it means in Spanish, because he was able to deceive the guards by disguising himself in addition to his acting performance.
Pictures and video footage released by Paraguayan authorities showed "Gordeto Lindo" wearing a long wig, false eyelashes, lipstick, false nails and women's clothing.
Gordetto carried out his plan with a daring escape after a conjugal visit, entering the private room with a woman and exiting, dressed in elaborate female attire, with which he managed to deceive the guards at several checkpoints.
The criminal was seen in a video clip, leaving the main door of the prison with several bags, wearing a face mask, according to the newspaper "Odity Central".
And while Giordeto Lindo's escape from prison may have been easier than expected, his freedom was short-lived, as the police arrested him only two hours later.
Arrested and due to be transferred to another prison for security reasons, Cesar Ortiz was serving a sentence of three years, nine months and twenty days for violent assault and robbery.
It is likely that his sentence was increased after Sunday's incident.
Authorities are currently conducting an official investigation into the possibility of this simple prison escape, and security officers on duty have already been suspended at the main gate of Tacumbú National Prison.
And the media reported that this incomplete attempt to escape from prison added to the record of similar incidents, including when a skinny prisoner a few years ago tried to escape from prison by hiding in a bag in which his visiting girlfriend carried him.
Another tried to disguise himself as his teenage daughter, and a Turkish prisoner failed to exchange his position in confinement with his identical twin brother.
