Serbia attracts more and more refugees from Burundi

More and more Burundians are seeking asylum in Serbia, where they now represent the third largest group of refugees, behind Afghans and Syrians.

Citizens of this East African country do not need a visa to travel to Serbia, as their country withdrew its recognition of Kosovo's independence, following lobbying from Belgrade.

Many of these newcomers seek to integrate by learning Serbian.
