Gong Bing, deputy mayor of Ya'an, revealed at a press conference that as of 9:00 on June 2, the earthquake had killed 4 people and injured 41 in Ya'an.
Among them, Baoxing killed 4 people and injured 30 people; Lushan injured 11 people.
The injured have all been sent to the hospital for treatment. One of them is in a critical condition and is not out of danger for the time being; two are seriously injured and their vital signs are stable; the remaining 38 injured are minor and not life-threatening.
At present, other districts and counties in Ya'an have not received any reports of casualties.
