Nike retains the top 10 most expensive clothing brands in the world

Nike retained its lead as the world's most valuable apparel brand, with its brand value increasing 9% to $33.2 billion, outperforming other sportswear brands, such as Adidas which managed to raise its brand only 2% to $14.6 billion.

Brand Finance, the world's leading brand evaluator, has released its annual report on the most expensive and powerful clothing brands for 2022.

The Corona pandemic has caused the brands to depreciate some of the famous fashion brands, such as Zara, whose brand value fell by 1% to $ 13.0 billion and Uniqlo, which faced a significant decline in its brand by 26% to $ 9.6 billion.

While the start of the recovery from the Corona virus led to an increase in the value of some luxury brands, such as Louis Vuitton, whose brand value increased by 58% to reach $23.4 billion, and Gucci, whose brand increased by 16% to reach 18.1 $1 billion, and H&M was able to achieve a 3% increase in its brand value to $12.7 billion, and Chanel was able to achieve a 15% increase in its brand value to $15.3 billion.

As for Hermes, its brand value increased by 16% to reach $13.5 billion.

Global Brand released the statistics this year and is in its 16th consecutive year of brand studies and research in more than 5,000 brands, 36 countries and 29 business sectors.
