Kuwait .. The arrest of a fake Arab doctor and referred to the prosecution

The competent authorities in Kuwait have arrested an expatriate of Arab nationality who practices medicine such as “skin beautification procedures, slimming, gynecology, obstetrics and cupping” without a license in an unlicensed clinic in a residential building in Ahmadi Governorate.

The Assistant Undersecretary for Civil Medical Services Affairs at the Ministry of Health, Dr. Fatima Al-Najjar, told Al-Rai newspaper that the Health Licensing Department at the Ministry of Health had received a report from a female citizen who visited the expatriate after receiving messages on WhatsApp announcing that she had undertaken medical procedures.

Where she, in turn, noticed that the clinic was located in an apartment building and that there were quantities of nutritional supplements, medicines and devices lying on the ground, as well as exaggerated prices for them, and the expatriate refused to write any medical reports and export any seals.

Dr. Al-Najjar indicated that after submitting the report, the Health Licensing Department coordinated with the Medicines Inspection Department in the Ministry, the Criminal Investigation Department and the workforce, and the committee went to the site mentioned in the report and seized the expatriate, who was found to have no license to practice the profession, which is an explicit violation of the law of practicing the profession. Medicine and the auxiliary professions, in addition to the fact that the place in which it was located is not licensed to be a medical facility, in addition to the presence of unlicensed nutritional supplements, medicines and medical devices and illegal advertisements.
