UK drill is a music genre in gangster rap that has grown big in the UK.

The rappers perform lyrics that are about violence and a criminal lifestyle to fast drum beats.

After Keisha McLeod's 14-year-old son was shot to death, a drill rapper released a song.

In the song, the British rapper mocks Keisha and her son.

- They basically say: "I can see your mother crying".

I interpret it as that song is aimed at me, says Keisha McLeod.

The son died in a gang-related drive-by shooting in east London 2017. Some believe that the rapper who mocked Keisha's son is a member of a gang that they believe carried out the drive-by shooting, but so far no one has been convicted of the act.

The drill rapper: Common in the genre

According to the rapper LD, it is common in the music genre drill that the lyrics contain crude language.

- In my opinion, if you were to tell me to shut up, it would be the same as saying "fuck you".

Once you start talking badly about someone, you have already crossed the line, says rapper LD.
