Elon Musk threatens to fire Tesla employees for this reason

American billionaire Elon Musk has threatened Tesla employees with dismissal from their jobs if they do not want to return to work from the office after two years of starting their duties from home.

In an email he sent to executives at the electric car maker, under the headline “Remote work is no longer acceptable,” Musk wrote: “Anyone who wants to do remote work must be in the office for at least 40 hours a week.” (And I mean that's the bare minimum) or Tesla leaves," according to The Independent, and RT.

"The office should be a main Tesla office, not a remote branch office, and it has nothing to do with the duties of the job, for example being in charge of human relations for a factory in Vermont, but your office in another state," he added.
