Fukuoka Prefecture announced on the 31st that it was confirmed that 1048 new people were infected with the new coronavirus in the prefecture.
It has fallen below the same day of the previous week for eight consecutive days.
The breakdown is 485 in Fukuoka City, 176 in Kitakyushu City, and 123 in Kurume City.
A total of 425,173 people have been confirmed to be infected in Fukuoka Prefecture.
