“The Northwestern Federal District, the south of the European part, the Krasnodar Territory, the Stavropol Territory, the south of the Chernozem Region and the south of the Volga Federal District - here the average monthly temperature in June is above the norm everywhere,” Vilfand was quoted by TASS.

According to him, near and below normal temperatures are expected in the south of Western Siberia, in the Khabarovsk and Primorsky Territories.

Abnormal precipitation is predicted in the Arkhangelsk Region, Komi, the Yamalo-Nenets Autonomous Okrug, the Altai Territory and in the south of the Novosibirsk Region.

Earlier, as reported by Nevskiye Novosti, the head of the department of long-term forecasts of the Hydrometeorological Center, Natalya Mironiceva, gave a forecast for weather conditions in St. Petersburg in June.
