There will be excitement on the streets of the UK for the Queen's Jubilee!

While 85,000 people have registered to organize large "Jubilee Lunches", street lunches launched in 2009 to connect neighbors across the country (and which this year coincides with the Platinum Jubilee), Buckingham Palace has announced that Prince Charles and his wife Camilla, Duchess of Cornwall, will also be present.

Their lunch will take place at The Oval, a Cricket ground in South London.

And so that there are no (or fewer) jealousies, Prince Edward and his wife Sophie, Countess of Wessex, will take part in another Jubilee Lunch near Windsor Castle.

Enjoy your lunch !

In total, according to the BBC, no less than 600 lunches will take place between June 2 and 5 to celebrate Queen Elizabeth II's Platinum Jubilee.

To ensure that everything takes place in a festive atmosphere, the government has recommended that localities be as “accommodating as possible”, including allowing the organization of these “street parties” at the last minute.

The Platinum Jubilee kicks off this Thursday with the Trooping the Color Parade, during which the royal family will stand on the balcony, as is tradition, to watch a grand military parade.

Among the other highly anticipated moments of this historic weekend, there will be the special concert organized in Buckingham which will notably bring together Diana Ross, Queen, Rod Stewart and Duran Duran.
