Training is being conducted at the Japan Coast Guard Academy in Kure City, Hiroshima Prefecture, to train divers who will dive into the sea and engage in rescue operations in the event of an accident at sea.

The Japan Coast Guard Academy in Kure City conducts training to train divers twice a year.

The training, which began on the 10th of this month, is attended by 18 coast guard officers selected from 10 districts nationwide.

On the 30th, training was conducted assuming rescue operations in harsh conditions, and nine people shared one air cylinder underwater and checked with each other to see if there were any people who would hold their breath or suffer until it was their turn. I was doing it.

In addition, since it will be possible to quickly remove snorkels and air cylinders even in narrow places underwater, we were training in pairs to exchange equipment with each other.

Mr. Mitsuki Kubota of the Nagasaki Coast Guard Office who participated said, "The training is desperate to keep up with it more than I imagined, but I want to work hard to save lives on the front line."

Kazuhiro Kazuhiro, chief diving instructor of the Japan Coast Guard Academy training department, said, "I want you to acquire more safety management in the team that is gradually being developed through training and utilize it for diving work in the field."

The training will continue until July 1st, and participants will be assigned to missions nationwide as rescue divers after undergoing a practical test and a national examination.
