It is the first time since January 13th that the number of infected people per day has fallen below 1000.
Compared to Monday of the previous week, there were 475 fewer people, falling below the same day of the previous week for 6 consecutive days.
There was no announcement of death.
According to NHK's summary, the number of infected people announced in Kanagawa Prefecture is now 725,806, of which 2198 have died.
The prefecture continues to call for thorough basic infection control measures.
The number of infected people does not include those who are undergoing voluntary medical treatment that does not fall under the Infectious Diseases Control Law.
