Zhongxin Finance, May 29 (Reporter Pang Wuji) The Ministry of Natural Resources and China Meteorological Administration jointly issued a geological disaster meteorological risk warning at 08:00 on the 29th.

Specifically, from 08:00 on May 29 to 08:00 on May 30, 2022, the risk of geological disasters in western Zhejiang, southern Anhui, northeastern Jiangxi, eastern Guangxi, southern Guizhou, and western Xinjiang is relatively high (yellow warning); Zhejiang The risk of geological disasters is high (orange warning) in parts of the west, parts of southern Anhui, parts of northeastern Jiangxi, and parts of southwest Guizhou.

The Ministry of Natural Resources said it was sending more experts to Anhui and Guizhou.

At present, the southern part of my country has entered the main flood season one after another. Jiangnan, South China, and Southwest China have experienced many heavy rainfall processes, and successive geological disasters have occurred in Zhijin in Guizhou, Rong County in Sichuan, and Wuping in Fujian.

66 experts from the Ministry of Natural Resources went to various places, stationed at the front line to strengthen the technical support for grass-roots geological disaster prevention, and cooperated with experts from various provinces to guide trend research and judgment, monitoring and early warning and risk avoidance transfer, assist in the optimization and implementation of disaster prevention plans, and provide emergency rescue technical support. Make every effort to protect the safety of people's lives and property.

According to the forecast of the Meteorological Department, from May 28 to 31, there will be strong rainfall from north to south in most areas south of the Qinling Mountains and Huaihe River, and the local rainfall can reach 150-200 mm.

After consultation and research, Zhejiang, Fujian, Jiangxi, Hunan, Guangxi and other provinces have relatively high local disaster risks.

The Ministry of Natural Resources has launched a level IV response to geological disaster prevention at 18:00 on the 27th, dispatched on-site experts and technical forces from the above-mentioned provinces, and required the natural resources departments at all levels to effectively conduct inspections and rolling early warnings for hidden dangers. Pre-set defensive forces, strengthen risk-aversion transfer, on-duty duty, information quick report and other work.

All localities should constantly review and optimize the geological disaster prevention work plan, and strictly refine the early warning and response actions.

Relevant industry departments should strictly implement the geological disaster risk assessment system for construction projects in prone areas, and pay attention to the investigation of road and railroads, mines, hydropower projects, oil (gas) pipelines, tourist attractions, and building slopes in human settlements. In particular, it is necessary to prevent the risk of geological disasters under high and steep slopes, temporary factory sites, work sheds and other production and living areas in debris flow and valley areas.

Experts from the Technical Guidance Center of the Ministry of Natural Resources have followed and judged that considering the hysteresis of hillside seepage weakening and the superposition of multiple periods of rainfall, the prevention of geological disaster risks in the above-mentioned areas should continue to be strengthened, and the counties (cities) in medium and high-risk areas should ensure the early warning of geological disasters and meteorological risks. The system operates efficiently, and combined with the changes in rainfall, weather forecast and disaster and risk conditions, it continuously improves the timeliness of early warning, and prepares for evacuation in dangerous areas.
