The suspect was "a neighbor who regularly came to buy alcohol" on the spot.

"The gendarmes quickly arrived on the scene and one of them used his weapon, mortally wounding the robber", adds the magistrate who seized "the research section of the gendarmerie on this armed robbery and, in parallel, the IGGN (General Inspectorate of the National Gendarmerie) on the use of weapons by the gendarme”.
