A 63-year-old man, who had just committed a robbery at a service station in Seyssinet-Pariset, in Isère, died Friday afternoon of his injuries after being hit by a gendarme's shot, said the parquet floor of Grenoble.

Investigation opened with the IGGN
The suspect was "a neighbor who regularly came to buy alcohol" on the spot.
"The gendarmes quickly arrived on the scene and one of them used his weapon, mortally wounding the robber", adds the magistrate who seized "the research section of the gendarmerie on this armed robbery and, in parallel, the IGGN (General Inspectorate of the National Gendarmerie) on the use of weapons by the gendarme”.
She will have to determine if the soldier was in danger at the time of shooting the robber.
