Malaysia closes 180 kindergartens due to rash spread

Malaysian authorities have closed 180 kindergartens due to the outbreak of the rash disease known as "hand, foot and mouth disease".

The Malaysian newspaper, "Newstreets Times", quoted Minister of Rural Development, Mahdzir Khaled, that until yesterday, orders had been issued to close this number of kindergartens after discovering an outbreak of the disease in the concerned buildings.

He said the damaged buildings will be closed for up to ten days until it is safe to resume studies and other activities again.
