House collapse in Sohag kills a baby girl and her sister

The facility center in Sohag Governorate, Egypt, witnessed a tragic accident, which was the death of a baby girl and her sister, as a result of the collapse of the house on them.

The incident began with a partial collapse of a house in the Markaz al-Munsha’ district in Sohag governorate;

Where the security forces, civil protection and the ground rescue unit moved to the place of the communication, and it was found that the house consists of two floors and is built of red bricks and mud, and roofed with wooden battens on an area of ​​40 meters.

It turned out that the house was owned by a 49-year-old worker who lived in the house with his family, and it was found that the ceiling of the back room on the first, upper and ground floors of the house had collapsed.

The ground rescue forces were able to pull a 10-year-old girl, a primary school student, and her 1-year-old sister, the daughters of the owner of the house, from under the rubble, and they had both died, and the two bodies were taken to the mortuary of the central facility hospital.
