THE ESSENTIAL
The closing ceremony of the 75th Cannes Film Festival begins at 8:40 p.m. and should last one hour.
Before that we will watch from 7:30 p.m. for the arrival of the guests on the steps, including all the future winners.
The mistress of ceremonies Virginie Efira will be suspended, like us, on the verdict of the jury chaired by Vincent Lindon.

That's it, it's the big night, that of the 75th prize list.
At 8:40 p.m., Virginie Efira will resume the role of mistress of ceremonies, which she did rather well at the opening of the festivities.
Vincent Lindon's jury will award at least seven prizes (out of 21 films in competition), including the coveted Palme d'Or.
Festival-goers have several favourites: Close by Lukas Dhont, Decision To Leave by Park Chan-wook and Armageddon Time by James Gray.
Will they be heard?
Response at the end of the ceremony.
