"I was between reality and the dream"

Plunging behind the scenes, Anthony Delon evokes his fascination with the imaginary world that surrounded his father.

"For me, it was the enchanted world. It was the filming, the extras, the different eras, the smells, the ringing that announced the start of the resumption of the sequence. This red light which lights up, this silence , these huge doors, these ceiling heights that seem huge to us when you are 5, 8 or 10 years old.

Anthony Delon depicts a fantastic world in his children's eyes: "I was between reality and dream" he says.

"I was part of the scenery"

His father's dressing room in the middle of all, the young Anthony could walk freely "everywhere".

From dressing rooms to studios, he describes the different corners of this universe in which he ventured as a child: "There were lots of little stairs going up. Little dressing rooms everywhere with extras smoking their cigarettes between each take."

The actor evokes an environment that was familiar to him, remembering in particular Suzie the costume designer or Vadée the hairdresser.

"In this bar where they were going to eat, drink shots, have beers, suddenly the manager called me. Somewhere, I was part of the decor, it made me happy," he explains.

An experience that made Anthony Delon "love the cinema", if not to make him want to work in the middle.
