Why this book?

  • Because Virginie Grimaldi has a magnificent pen.

She knows how to handle words perfectly.

She accurately and realistically conveys the emotions of her characters.

She also has a great sense of humor, which always softens the difficult subjects she brings up.

  • Because this book tells the story of three heroes

whose lives have not been spared.

They are all three at an important moment in their lives, one of the worst perhaps.

They have to face the difficulty of life.

Each to his story, each to his faults, each to his past.

But together, they will grow and put aside their loneliness.

  • Because this book shows us the difficulties of life.

We all meet one day or another a test that will make us waver, that's what heroes go through.

Difficulties, true and real that can happen to all of us.

The reality of this story is gripping and overwhelming.

  • Because this story is about encounters,

people we meet throughout our lives, those we forget and those who mark us.

Especially those that can change our lives.

People put in our way or met by chance, who will guide and brighten our future.

  • Because twists inevitably surprise.

The author knows how to leave doubt or suspense in these books.

A story that might seem quite banal, but which has its share of surprises.

Those that we guess and those that leave our mouths open.

  • Because a lot of important topics are covered

    in this book.

I can cite a few such as alcoholism, the difficulty of living in a home for children and adolescents.

    But also mourning and manipulation.

These are not easy topics and even if my heart sank several times, Virginie Grimaldi knows how to put a bandage on it thanks to her pretty messages.

  • Because this book is a hymn to hope.

Despite the obstacles that life will bring us through, we must never let ourselves be defeated.

We must always keep hope, get up, know how to reach out.

Fate will place people on our path who will help us jump over these obstacles and find the light.
