This brings the total number of confirmed infections in the prefecture to 154,850.
Hiroshima Prefecture also announced that one person who had been hospitalized at a medical institution in the prefecture after being infected with the new coronavirus died on the 23rd of this month.
The number of people who became infected in the prefecture and died after that was 485.
