A diver from the Tokuyama Coast Guard in Yamaguchi Prefecture was certified as a Guinness World Record for the number of consecutive suspensions, and on the 26th, the state of suspensions and diving training were released.

The Guinness World Record was certified by Kenta Adachi (34) from Shunan City, who is a diver on the Tokuyama Coast Guard patrol boat "Kurokami".

In March, Mr. Adachi suspended 651 times while hanging on the horizontal bar once, and was certified as a Guinness World Record this month as the number of consecutive suspensions.

On the 26th, in addition to Mr. Adachi's pull-ups, the state of skin diving and rescue training to help people drowning in the sea was released.

Fifteen years before he entered the Japan Coast Guard School, he was able to pull up only 12 times, but after that, he said that pull-ups are a special skill in training to train his strength to pull and climb ropes as a diver. I noticed that.

Since September of last year, I have been trying to set a world record in earnest, and for the last two months, I have been working on 300 pull-ups once every two days in a row.

Mr. Adachi said, "I was surprised and honestly happy because the Guinness World Records was what I was aiming for. I'm glad that the suspension is an inseparable event for the Japan Coast Guard Officer, so it will lead to the aspirations of my subordinates." I am.
