All kinds of bead ornaments, or natural jade, or artificially refined metals, or artificially synthesized materials, fully reflect the aesthetics and wisdom of the ancestors.

  These Han Dynasty bead ornaments have witnessed the trade and cultural exchanges between Lingnan and surrounding areas, especially with Southeast Asia, South Asia, West Asia and the Mediterranean coast by sea, and reproduced the vivid historical picture of Panyu in the Han Dynasty. .

  Since 2016, the Guangzhou Institute of Cultural Relics and Archaeology has conducted a comprehensive research on the Han Dynasty beadwork unearthed in Guangzhou, and published the academic monograph "Research on the Han Dynasty Beadwork Unearthed in Guangzhou".

From 2021, the institute has launched the project of "Research on Han and Tang Beads Unearthed in Lingnan and the Maritime Silk Road".
