The winner of the Cultural Personality of the Year award, the Saudi critic, Dr. Abdullah Al-Ghadami, said that his relationship with Abu Dhabi had caused a qualitative change in his career and cultural life, adding during the session that was held the day before yesterday for the award winners within the activities of the Abu Dhabi International Book Fair: “In 1987, a symposium was held under the supervision of The Union of Arab Writers in Abu Dhabi, and it was devoted to the literature of the Arabian Peninsula, and asked me to talk about contemporary poetry in the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia. to respond to this study.

Library of Alexandria

While the Director of the Bibliotheca Alexandrina, Dr. Mostafa El-Feki, highlighted the status of the library, which won the Sheikh Zayed Book Award in the Publishing and Cultural Techniques branch, as the oldest in the world.

Al-Fiqi added that the library has taken important steps in the field of combating extremism and intellectual exclusion in society, so it was keen to receive students from Al-Azhar schools and institutes to spend a whole day in it, and to see its various cultural projects. Culturally in that region where extremist ideology is spread, the activities offered by the historic Sennari House have also been intensified to keep pace with the interests of the residents and visitors to the region, with the library keen to open a global heritage preservation center in the Smart Village in Cairo to link science, thought and culture.
