A tour boat that sank off the coast of the Shiretoko Peninsula in Hokkaido and fell to the seabed while being carried by a work boat began to be lifted again by a salvage company's work boat from 3:00 pm on the 26th.

After lifting it to the surface of the sea, it will be fixed next to the work boat and will be lifted in shallow water.

In the accident where the sightseeing boat "KAZU 1" sank off the coast of the Shiretoko Peninsula, the hull was lifted from the seabed at a depth of about 120 meters by a salvage company's work boat, and on the 24th, Shari was being carried while being suspended in the sea. It fell to the bottom of the sea at a depth of 182 meters off the town of Utoro.

The salvage company used an underwater robot to re-belt the hull, and from 3:00 pm on the 26th, the work of lifting it again with the winch of the work ship began.

It is expected that it will take about an hour to lift to the surface of the sea, and after that, it will be fixed to the port side of the work ship, moved to the shallow water area off Utoro, and then lifted onto the work ship using a crane.

The hull will eventually be transported to Abashiri Port, where the water inside the ship will be drained before landing.
