Sun Xiuqin is a senior costume designer and the first winner of China's top ten costume designers in Xinjiang. Because she can't draw, she copied dance works and design drawings in dance magazines to learn by herself. A clothing executive turned costume designer and entered the competition as a designer in 1989.
2007 is the tenth year of China International Fashion Week. Sun Xiuqin came to Beijing with the clothes she designed. The clothes she designed with unique Xinjiang national characteristics and Silk Road culture made her the first Chinese in Xinjiang in one fell swoop. One of the top ten fashion designers, Sun Xiuqin later used Xinjiang culture as a carrier to design series of works such as "Kuizi Beauty" and "Five Stars Out of the East", and won the award of China's top ten fashion designers for the second time. In her opinion, Xinjiang is one of the top ten fashion designers in China. The Silk Road culture and the culture of various ethnic groups in Xinjiang are very classic, whether it is the golden sand sea, the Ili prairie, or the Tajik mountain people on the Pamir Plateau, etc. The land of Xinjiang brings her endless reverie, Let her ideas never run out and her creations will never stop.
