Three distributors of free periodic protection will be installed in the coming days in certain municipal establishments in the city of Antony (Hauts-de-Seine), announced

Actu Hauts-de-Seine

on Wednesday.

The three places concerned are the youth space, one of the city's gymnasiums and the Ousmane Sy cultural center.

An initiative that should evolve

This project is on the initiative of the deputy mayor in charge of equality between women and men.

Eventually, the latter would like to see this type of distributor in all the city's infrastructures.

The objective of the municipality is to break the taboo which reigns around the rules but especially to fight against menstrual precariousness.

In these first three distributors, towels and tampons from the organic brand Marguerite & Cie will be available.

The project is financed by the various city departments.

On the occasion of World Menstrual Hygiene Day, this Saturday, a series of actions will be organized in the town.

A collection will also be set up.
