In the end, the ministry of Carolina Darias has decided to launch the acquisition of vaccines, although it has not specified the times, according to sources from the Interterritorial Council, which met this afternoon.

Health

thus gives in to the requests of several autonomies, including Madrid, which have been demanding for days the purchase of vaccines

in the face of the almost daily increase in those infected by monkeypox.

In the case of the

Community of Madrid, according to the latest data provided by the Autonomous Administration, those affected by monkeypox are 48

(45 more samples continue to be studied and 29 have been negative).

Andalusia

is another of the communities that has seen an increase in the number of cases, for now suspicious: from the first two last weekend to the 12 notified today whose samples have also been sent to the National Center for Microbiology.

This is precisely another of the regions that had requested the central government to purchase vaccines.

The Canary Islands have two confirmed cases, while in the rest of the autonomies all those notified are under study, except in Extremadura.

In this case, the sample corresponded to a woman, who has finally tested negative for monkeypox and the Basque Country, which has reported two confirmed cases.

Galicia continues with three under study;

Castilla-La Mancha, two;

Aragon, one;

Comunidad Valenciana, two (one in Valencia and the other in Castellón) and Castilla y León, which was the last region to report a possible case.
