Côtes-d'Armor has granted 455 residence permits to Ukrainian refugees

The war in Ukraine has led to a massive displacement of the country's populations wishing to avoid areas of violence.

It was the local authorities who revealed the information during the weekly update on the reception of Ukrainian refugees.

268 certificates were also granted to minors, according to the press release.

“These figures are however lower than the number of people currently welcomed, since not all of them have yet started their procedures”, specifies the prefecture.

Among the children, 150 were admitted to schools in the department.

According to our colleagues, the prefecture also issued 330 asylum seeker allowance cards (ADA).

Thus, 644 Ukrainian nationals will be able to benefit from universal health protection and complementary health insurance.
