The first hotel in space will open by 2025

The American aerospace company Orbital Assembly has revealed that the first luxury hotel in outer space will open by 2025

This futuristic concept was first demonstrated by the US Gateway Foundation and named Von Braun Station.

The station includes several units connected by elevator shafts to form a wheel that revolves around the ground.

And it seeks to launch two space stations to accommodate tourists, within five years from now.

The project will not only be intended for the establishment of two holiday hotels, but will also extend to hosting work offices.

The project is currently being implemented by Orbital Assembly Corporation,

It was decided to open the Voyager station - the newly given name to the basic design - in 2027, with a capacity of 400 people, while the new Pioneer station, which accommodates a total of 28 people, is expected to be ready for habitation in 2025.

The company stated on its website that the Pioneer station will be the first habitable platform capable of providing artificial gravity, providing unprecedented opportunities for long-term spaceflight.

She added, "Voyageur Station will take advantage of space technologies and amenities on Earth to create a unique experience unparalleled in history."

According to the company's chief operating officer Tim Alatori, the goal has always been to enable large numbers of people to live, work and thrive in space.

The attraction of the new concept for the Pioneer Station is that its smaller size makes it achievable faster, Alatori explained, "This gives us an opportunity to get people to start testing space on a larger scale, and faster."

office rental

There will also be the opportunity to rent office space and research facilities at both the Pioneer and Voyager stations.

Alatori considered this to be profitable in all respects for the Orbital Assembly, which depends on funding much of its near-term goals.

It is worth noting that what the American company is doing is a unique experience, as it is active in building the first floating space hotel above the Earth's atmosphere.

“The plant rotates, pushes its contents out to the outer edge, and it's a lot like the way you turn a bucket of water, the liquid rushes to the edge, and it stays in place,” says Alatori. The feeling of attraction will increase."

He also explained that because the Pioneer station is smaller, its level of gravity will be different.

There will still be what he calls the amenities brought on by artificial gravity, such as showers and the ability to eat and drink sitting down, but spaces with less gravity will allow for extra fun and space quirks.

the design

The designs of the hotel layout indicate that the interior design will not differ much from the luxury hotels on the surface of the earth, but with some stunning scenes unfamiliar in our world.

The initial design, emphasized by Alatori, showed that the hotel's aesthetic was inspired by Stanley Kubrick's 2001: A Space Odyssey.

Despite the high cost of space travel tickets, Alatori stressed that space tourism will not be limited to the wealthy, and said, "We are doing our best to make space travel accessible to everyone, not just the wealthy."

Reports have indicated that the cost of the trip will be $5 million per person for 3 days.
