According to the website of the People's Government of Wujin District, Changzhou City, at about 20:45 on May 24, the two-and-a-half-storey residential building at No. 182-183, Huayuanxincun Community, Hutang Town, Wujin District, Changzhou City was liquefied due to bottled liquefaction. The gas leak caused an explosion and collapsed, and the house area was about 100 square meters.
After the incident, rescue forces such as city and district firefighting, emergency, public security, and health care rushed to the scene immediately to carry out rescue efforts.
Up to now, 3 people have been rescued and sent to the hospital for treatment. After preliminary investigation, 3 people are still trapped, and the rescue work is in progress.
