A security guard working at the Qatari embassy in Paris was killed on Monday morning.
The alleged perpetrator was arrested after the fact, AFP learned from a source close to the investigation and from the Paris prosecutor's office.
According to the source close to the investigation, an altercation took place between the two men in front of the embassy.
"The circumstances of the death of the security guard are yet to be determined precisely," said the prosecution.
The Parisian criminal brigade is in charge of the investigation opened for intentional homicide.
