Akita Prefecture and Akita City announced on the 23rd that 71 new people have been confirmed to be infected with the new coronavirus.
It is the first time in about 100 days since February 14th that the number of infected people per day announced in the prefecture has fallen below 100.
As a result, a total of 29,443 people have been confirmed to be infected in Akita Prefecture.
