Xinhua News Agency, Hohhot, May 21, telegram: "Fumin Jing" in "Borrowing Chicken for Chicken"

Xinhua News Agency reporters Zhang Lina and Wang Jing

Yue Jinshan, a poverty-stricken household, came to Zhanyi Cooperative with a cage of big roosters. He first returned 5 to the cooperative, and then sold 45 of them.

After earning 3,600 yuan, Uncle Yue was full of joy and was ready to take orders for the next transaction.

The reporter recently interviewed in the village of Horqin Right Front Banner, Xing'an League, Inner Mongolia Autonomous Region, and learned that a series of small and sophisticated industry-driven models have been launched locally, which has provided "reassurance" for farmers who have not been out of poverty, and the stories of "borrowing chicken for chicken" are frequent. staged.

Why "borrow the chicken for the chicken"?

Let's start with "borrowing the chicken for the egg".

The initiator of this method is Qi Xiaojing. After graduating from college, he returned to his hometown to start a business and established the Horqin Right Front Banner Zhanyi Cooperative.

At first, funds were tight and manpower was short, and most of the villages were left-behind elderly people.

After several explorations, Qi Xiaojing joined forces with local farmers and government departments. In 2017, they jointly proposed the idea of "borrowing chickens to return eggs": farmers can receive at least 20 chicks from the cooperative according to their breeding capacity, and each chicken will be raised and returned. After 25 eggs are finished, the chickens are owned by the farmers, and the eggs produced after that are all recycled at 1 yuan per egg.

In this way, Qi Xiaojing has solved the problem of no sheds and no manpower for breeding, and raising chickens is not unfamiliar to farmers, and there is no cost, which can be said to be the best of both worlds.

However, Qi Xiaojing was very worried at first: "If the villagers take my chickens and don't return the eggs after eating, wouldn't it be that the chickens would fly and beat the eggs?" It is very clear: "The aunt said that there is still one egg left, and tomorrow the chicken will be returned to me."

Soon, the farmers returned all the eggs and sold the remaining eggs to the cooperative at 1 yuan each.

These yellow and bright local eggs are very popular with the public. The cooperative sold them at 1.5 yuan on the market, and they were sold out quickly.

"Slowly, I understood the principle of 'people gather together, wealth gathers', and developing the agricultural industry is definitely not as good as a group of people to keep warm."

On the basis of "borrowing chickens and returning eggs", the method of "borrowing chickens and returning chickens" has been introduced in depth, that is, for every 10 chicks received, one chicken will be returned after they are raised, and the rest of the chickens will be owned by the farmers. Yuan and eggs are recycled at a price of 1 Yuan each.

Gao Yuliang, a poverty-stricken household in Yuanxin Village, Horqin Town, is so rare that he cannot grow crops.

When he learned that the cooperative was carrying out "borrowing chickens and returning chickens", he immediately brought back 30 chicks and fed them carefully every day.

"There is no need to invest any capital, and there are epidemic prevention personnel who come to do epidemic prevention every quarter, and you can make money as long as you take good care of it." After that, Gao Yuliang returned the cooperative's 3 big roosters, and sold 8 to the cooperative for 640 yuan.

He said: "The cooperative is right at the door of the house, and the leftover chickens can be sold at any time to make money at any time!"

As soon as the idea is opened, the path becomes wider.

"Borrowing chickens for chickens" has in turn derived a series of industry-driven methods such as "borrowing pigs to return meat" and "borrowing seedlings to return fruits". At present, a total of 416 farmers in the Horqin Right Front Banner have been driven, including about 300 poverty-stricken households and low-income households. household.

According to Sun Shutao, Secretary of the Horqin Right Front Banner, in order to further magnify the effect of helping farmers, Qili invested 1.5 million yuan to build an e-commerce center to help Zhanyi Cooperative to play the role of linking, leading, helping and enriching farmers.

At the same time, Qili established the "Korqin Town Local Talent Incubation Center" in Zhanyi Cooperative, with Qi Xiaojing as the director of the center to train local talents.

Soon, the methods of "borrowing chickens for chickens" and "borrowing seedlings for fruit" were replicated in other banners and counties of Xing'an League. The effect of linking farmers with farmers gradually expanded, and agricultural production and sales showed vigorous vitality.

In the green house of Zhanyi Cooperative, Qi Xiaojing took a close look at the growth of the new variety "Strawberry Persimmon".

She said that when the seedlings grow well, "borrowing the seedlings to return the fruit" can be implemented. "Then the agricultural products in the village will be popular in the market again."
