The breakdown is 725 for Saitama Prefecture, 215 for Saitama City, 142 for Kawaguchi City, 64 for Koshigaya City, and 36 for Kawagoe City.
As a result, a total of 541,889 people have been announced as infected in the prefecture.
The prefecture also announced that three people infected with the new coronavirus have died, bringing the total number of deaths in the prefecture to 1,559.
