Elham Shaheen responds to Ghada Ibrahim's suffocation at Samir Sabry's funeral. The latter was suspended after being transferred to investigation
The artist, Ghada Ibrahim, collapsed during the funeral of the late great artist Samir Sabry to his final resting place in the family cemetery in Alexandria, because she was prevented from boarding the artists' bus during the funeral.
Ghada Ibrahim said: "I'm coming to the bus. One of them told me, the bus is full. I was going behind Samir. These people don't know our Lord, God suffices me and He is the best agent."
Ghada Ibrahim did not reveal the names of the two characters who prevented her from getting on the bus, saying that she was "Ilham bint Afaf."
Several videos were circulated showing Ghada uttering angry terms against the artist who was inside the bus, and she deliberately pronounced her name incorrectly to avoid legal accountability, as well as accusations of media who were on the same bus.
At the same time, media outlets indicated that the dispute occurred between the artist, Ghada Ibrahim, the artist Ilham Shaheen, and the media, Bossi Shalaby, during the funeral, due to the latter's refusal to get Ghada Ibrahim with them to the car that the artists took to go to Alexandria to bury the body of the artist Samir Sabry.
After that, the Syndicate of Representative Professions, headed by the artist Ashraf Zaki, issued an urgent decision to stop Ghada Ibrahim from work and refer her to the investigation because of the offensive phrases she uttered against an artist at the funeral of the late Samir Sabry, accusing her of preventing her from riding the bus of art stars who accompanied the body of the deceased to his resting place. For her part, the artist, Elham Shaheen, revealed the truth of her dispute with Ghada Ibrahim at the funeral of the late Samir Sabry.
Shaheen added, during her interview with the media, Amr Adib, on the “Al-Hekaya” program, broadcast on the “mbc Egypt” satellite channel, on Saturday evening: “I left the mosque and rode a Laila Elwi car and traveled with her to Alexandria. Basically the case.”
And the artist, Ilham Shaheen, during her hosting with the heroes of the series “Baloo’ Al-Rouh”, continued: “I walked along after the funeral prayer with the artist Laila Elwi, follow-up:” Anyone who wants to draw attention to why Ilham Shaheen’s name is placed in any dialogue or problem.
On the other hand, actress Ghada Ibrahim commented on the Actors Syndicate's decision to suspend her from work.
She said that she had received a phone call from the artist Ashraf Tolba, the Secretary of the Syndicate of Acting Professions, in which he informed her of the artist's decision, Ashraf Zaki, the Actors Syndicate, to stop acting completely, following her crisis with the artist Ilham Shaheen and the media, Bossi Shalaby, at the funeral of the artist Samir Sabry.
She revealed that she will be investigated by the union on Monday, according to what the union's secretary told her, stressing that she will attend the investigation to resolve the controversy raised throughout the day about her quarrel with Ilham Shaheen and Bossi Shalaby.
