[Explanation] Li Guicang is a beef cattle farmer in Haiyuan County, Ningxia. He has worked hard in Guangzhou for 16 years, worked as a translator, and opened a foreign trade company.
In 2014, he gave up the big cities with superior conditions and returned to the small villages in the northwest to start a business.

Compared with big cities, it is more prosperous and more attractive to young people, but I feel that I don't have a sense of belonging in big cities, and I always feel that I am a wanderer.
As the country has increased investment in the "Sannong" field in recent years, I have seen business opportunities, so I decided to return to my hometown to start a business and create my own small world in the "Sannong" field.
[Explanation] In 2019, Li Guicang took a look at business opportunities, took a loan of 3 million yuan from the bank, and partnered with friends to open the first beef cattle breeding cooperative in the village.

Because we in Haiyuan took beef cattle breeding as the key industry of "one county, one industry" in the past few years. At that time, I had a small factory and raised more than 100 head of cattle, but the county government encouraged the expansion of the scale. Niu can get a preferential policy of 1,500 yuan, so I decided to expand my own small factory.
[Explanation] The establishment of the beef cattle breeding cooperative has made Li Guicang a big local farmer. Coupled with the personal connections he made when he worked hard in Guangzhou, the sales of beef cattle was officially opened.
In the process of sales, Li Guicang soon discovered that if he wanted to win the favor of major customers, he had to strengthen cooperation with more farmers in the village, so that they could get rich together by "holding together for warmth".

If people buy cattle like other merchants, they usually focus on which point. For example, if I can hold one or two hundred heads (cattle), it is impossible for people to say that they are scattered and purchased.
Therefore, we are now uniting farmers and cooperatives to summarize the situation of beef cattle that we can grasp every month, that is, everyone reports the number of cattle, and we will focus on sales at that time, so it is to solve the problem of small group sales. of this problem.
[Explanation] Since 2019, Li Guicang's number of beef cattle has increased fivefold, with an annual income of nearly one million yuan.
Now, he is expanding the cowshed and preparing to raise another 200 beef cattle, bringing the total number of beef cattle to 700.
In Li Guicang's view, the field of "agriculture, rural areas and farmers" needs more young people to devote themselves to it and combine more avant-garde ideas with agriculture, so that China's agriculture and animal husbandry will be more prosperous in the future.

In fact, in China's "three rural" field, some "post-60s" and "post-70s" are mainly responsible for this responsibility. In fact, our "post-80s" and "post-90s" have invested very little energy and manpower in this industry. , so if we "post-80s" or "post-90s", or even these college students who have returned to their hometowns to start their own businesses, if they can integrate into our China's "Sannong" field, they can inject fresh blood into our new "Sannong", In the future development of our "Sannong", I think a bigger step will be taken.
[Explanation] According to the operation of the agricultural and rural economy in the first quarter of 2022, there are currently more than 11 million people who have returned to their hometowns to start their own businesses.
According to comprehensive calculations, a return-to-home entrepreneurial project can, on average, attract 6 to 7 farmers for stable employment and 17 for flexible employment.
