After the assassination of journalist Shireen Abu Aqleh at the hands of the Israeli occupation forces, calls for boycott and pressure to impose sanctions on Israel as an apartheid regime resurfaced.

The world witnessed many positions from politicians, artists and public figures, denouncing the crime of assassination, and denouncing the scene of the attack on the body of Sherine Abu Akleh.

In the context of these calls and positions, Khadija Ben Qena hosts Omar Al-Barghouti, one of the founders of the Boycott, Divestment and Sanctions (BDS) movement, to discuss with him the movement’s position on the assassination, the importance of boycott efforts and mechanisms, and how to exploit the momentum of the assassination to refute Israel’s practices and expose its crimes before the world.
