Ervé lives on the street.

And this inhabits it.

He drags with him the burden of a bad childhood and between anger, sadness and melancholy, he writes, among others on his twitter account @croisepattes.

"Carnassial Writings" is his first publication, it is a collection of texts echoing his dented life, published by Maurice Nadeau.

“For a long time, I tease the street.

Still.

Guided by my faults, my wounds, I walk along bituminous sidewalks or dusty paths.

Everywhere the same bitumen.

Everywhere the same acrid dust.

Oh !

How I would like to find a hole of greenery where a river sings, but I am not that sleeper.

However, I have two pains in my back that make me say that I was no match for you and that you defeated me with your words.

I lost.

Yes.

I lost myself.

»

Through these fragments of a shattered life, this writing that is at once vibrant, poetic and carnivorous, unfolds the darkness and the moments of grace of a celestial among the tramps of Paris.
